Hello! I am a math teacher in Iowa. I taught junior high for six years before
moving to my current position at the high school level. I am married to my husband, Adam and we have
three wonderful kids. When I am not
working on items for my classroom, we enjoy spending time as a family. We like to be outdoors, take trips, and cheer
on the Hawkeyes.
Professionally, I earned a Master’s
Degree in 2009 and started working on my Teacher Leadership certificate in
August 2016. My new leadership position
at my school has encouraged me to learn new strategies and ideas to support
other teachers. In addition to my
leadership position, I helped with an iPad pilot program in my school and am a
member of our Blended Learning Team.
I am using this
blog to communicate my new knowledge about technology in the classroom. I hope to expand my own knowledge with tools
and lessons to incorporate in my classroom while building a network of learning
with others. Please feel free to offer
